In Chapter 1 , I enjoyed reading about digital students. Students now as explained in chapter 1 are hypercommunicators, play oriented. I also learned that today's digital students are more interested in learning when the information is fun and relevant. With this information I understand some of the things I will have to do as a teacher to encourage my students to learn.

Today, The class learned how to use the SAM software.SAM is used to prepare students for exams. This program also has skill checks and practice test.

It is hard to apply what you learn, when you can not follow the class. I thought I bought the correct book for this class, but it was used, and it did not work. Which is just a little frustrating. I like to do what I have to do and be done, but today I couldn't do that. This sucks.Especially since now I cant get a full refund because I took it out of the bundle, how unfair is that. :(

My name is Angelina Moss, and I am a Social Science Education major. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. , which is about two hours outside of Tallahassee. I love to dance and going out with friends.

My prior experience with technology is very minimal. I have used microsoft word, excel, and power point. However Myspace and Facebook has become a pasttime of mine.

I hope that this class will make me more computer literate, especially in the educational field. Technology is such an important factor in learning now and I do not want to be left behind.
